That is a very good idea actually, why haven't console developers done this yet?

Yeah it is, sort of. You can get access to the microtransaction weapons, but it's in set loadouts. You have to buy them to be able to use the weapons in custom loadouts.
30fps just doesn't cut it. Thats why I'm struggling to complete Gears Ultimate campaign, feels sluggish compared to the MP. MP on UC4 looks like a massive improvement overall though.
