phone/tablet gaming does not equate to gaming on a dedicated handheld. Just because you are not into handheld gaming doesn't mean that others shouldn't be or that it is dumb. Surprised that people are so close-minded. Actually, i'm not. It's sad that the vita is the way it is. The psp was pretty cool. Playing on a phone/tablet does not at all compare to playing on a 3ds/vita

Thats good for Sony and Ninty. Good for Sony because now they don't have to waste anymore resources and good for Ninty because now dominating Japan became alot easier.

Because they are already slaughtering Nintendo for not supporting the WiiU. And I think I'm not over-exaggerating, because I saw a thousand posts about this before.

"Gaming on the go has been mastered by phones"

Are you kidding me? There is nothing worse than gaming on phones. Google Play store is TRASH, App Store is TRASH, so many games I've seen are either knockoffs, freemiums(ew), or just bad games that get boring after playing them once.

Also, don't get me started on the no physical buttons. Gaming isn't easy without the buttons(especially minecraft. I've tried PC and Mobile version, PC is clear winner).

Portable handhelds will have a place. Maybe not as big as the DS and PSP(those monsters sold over 200 million together), but still good enough, cause people who want to play real games would prefer a handheld with a store of actual games approved by Nintendo, instead of a terrible app store that has almost anything pass through it.

Oh, and don't remind me on how many Minecraft mods I see on app store. There's a minecraft-version of everything. FNAF, pokemon, fallout, etc etc.
