Forums - Politics - School stabbing linked to racism and Nazi sympathies? Murderer in disguise brings sword to school killing two and injuring others

So rather than thinking 'oh shit a masked guy with a sword is wandering around, better call the police or something' peoples first thought was 'hey lets go take pictures with that weirdo with a sword'?

Why should the first reaction be fear? We almost never have incidents in Sweden, and it's been 55 years since something happened in a school that was close to this. People might just as well have thought it was a costume for Halloween or something.

It looks like, or at least according to Abbath.

According to me?

I took that of course from the article:

Several students told local media they did not initially see him as a threat and thought he was dressed for Halloween.

“When we first saw him we thought it was a joke,” one student told reporters.

“He had a mask and black clothes and a long sword. There were students who wanted to go with him and hold the sword.”

Students eagerly asked to take pictures with him — leading to a creepy image published by Swedish media, showing the killer posing between two people.

????

I mean according to the OP posted. I doubt it was a story you made, of course it had a source but no need to see, or at least I don't need. The OP seems clear enough to me.

Im not defending this person now, but this guy actually got really really bullied in his schools . A facebook group with a bunch of girls and guys named it ''everyone who thinks (killers name) is gay'' and other stuff. I doesnt justify what he did , but getting bullied can fuel anger

Oh ok.

If it was a story I made it would be a little different. There would be no innocent killings but undercover Sith and instead there would be a lightsaber duel.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Will the Sith throw his lightsaber, like Vader to Luke in SWEpisode VI?

There's been a weirdo dressed as a samurai with a sword in my town for a couple months, he still hasn't killed anyone. Noone has called the police either.

If the police had to move everytime someone finds some weirdo suspicious it would do more harm than good really.

To add some info, the killer had extreme right (nazi) sympathies.

Also, I sort of understand why the students didn't really think it was anything dangerous at first. I mean, for crying out loud, it's a fucking sword. It seems so absurd. And these things generally don't really happen here in this area (scandinavia). I'll be sure to call the cops the next time I see any dude with a sword at my school though.

Wow, wtf...
The kids must have thought it was another student doing a prank or something, stop acting like that guys, who would thought it would be an actual murderer, is not like he had a gun, and it was a very peaceful place.
It's even really close to Halloween.

Swords = safe

Guns = bad

I'll remember that

Killing people is a lot easier with a gun. You should remember that. You can outrun a blade, good luck trying to outrun a bullet.

People are going to blame the guy, but there's some blame on the people who decided to take a picture.

I mean, really? Especially for the one's 12+ for age. That is the last thing they should be doing.

Idiots. They probably would have taken a picture of the twin towers collapsing instead of running away for safety
