The motion controls were awful in Mario Tennis Wii, the game plays too fast at a high level to use motion control correctly. Honestly, try to learn to play with buttons, it's for the best.

I know, wouldn't call them awful though, but definitely basic, maybe it's because I like motion controls overall

should have been Motion+, otherwise why even call it WiiU really, Wii was all about motion controls and bringing those on HD would sell far more copies :S

With all this new footage coming out the game has turned from looking like a dumb alpha game with clunky mechanics to a really sleek and swift tennis game that looks like great fun - although it still seems to lack features. As someone who loves a good sports game, this is a day 1 candidate for me.

It depends on how well it's received, then I will get it. Mainly because I already have Wii Sports Club.. so yeah.

Why does this game gets online but star fox doesn't? Whatever the truth is this game got a little more interesting

What was that about Amiibo compatibility?

The only way I'd buy the game is if it has a story mode like the one on GBA had, all the Mario Tennis games since then feel so lazy and disappointing. 

Nice, Nintendo learning to add Online to more of their games, but there is a rumor that AC Amiibo Festival doesn't have online multiplayer.. :/
