My Wii does that too for some reason.. even though I removed all Internet Connections from the Wii, whenever I turn it on to play [GameCube] games, it will go to standby after I turn it off.. so I just unplug the power.. no idea why it does this :/

You can change it under the settings. I think its under standby mode or wii connect 24.

$100 isn't bad and in box too. So you know they took care of it reasonably if they cared to keep the original box.

Definitely worth $100. Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8 would be my favourite games.
