NX is a cool name/abbreviation, maybe they could name it Nintendo Cross so that the extended name is still short but they can still keep the NX abbreviation that sounds good and is really short...

I love the Wii U but I'm hoping they drop the "Wii" name and head far, far, away from it in the opposite direction. I do like the "NX" codename they have so I hope they stick with it, but most likely won't.
