All MGS games had the same amount of cut scenes or more than MGS4 so I don't get that critisism.

Wrong. You could argue all MGS games are cutscene heavy, MGS V aside. But MGS4 will always take the crown.

In comparison, the closest MGS game in terms of cutscene is 2.

This is why reviews are a joke rating this game so high and calling it a masterpiece when Kojima screwed up the history of the franchise as well. Glad I skipped it and it should not have been made in the first place.

Its not screwing up the story, at the end of the ending cutscene they are giving you the timeline and pretty much telling whats happening.

The whole thing about who you are actually playing as messed up the history and the storyline of Metal Gear 1.

They all had a bunch of cut scenes. The length does not matter as the games still had the same amount of game play.In fact MGS4 was the longest til that point with the first 3 games being shorter with cut scenes.

I haven't tried MGS5 yet but if you got dissapointed with TW3 as well then I guess you are really hard to impress because TW3 is my favorite game this gen so far. Hope you find that game that inmerse you as you are hoping to.

TW3 was a really good game. But I expected more because of CDPR history and marketing push. So I didnt liked it.

Example, When we went to see Mission Impossible 5 at Cineplex we expected more. But I didnt reached our expectation. So despite being a good movie we were disappointed. And when we went to see Antman we expected nothing. But it surpassed our expectations. We liked it.

Its not about quality. Its about meeting expectations. In witcher 3 we expected more because CDPR overhyped it.

yeah I understand, it's about expectations, that may be the reason I was blown away by TW3 because I didn't know what to expect.  It was my first Witcher game.  Same happen to me with Demon souls in which the only thing I knew about the game was that you die a lot.

Yes, but Metal Gear Solid 4 features three more hours of cutscenes than the second longest MGS in terms of cutscenes, no matter how you want to look at it.

And no, MGS4 is among the shortest Metal Gear games, next to Metal Gear Solid 1. It's just that the ridiculously huge amount of cutscenes drives the total gameplay time up a lot.

If it did anything for me it furthers my belief that kojima should stop making games, MGS5 is the very definition of a game made by a man whos head is so far up his own ass, his disjointed, mishapen form wouldnt look out of place in a silent hills game. Seriously some of the shit in MGS5 is so cringe worthy bad, im ashamed i 100% the game. If it wasnt for a tiny glimmer of hope i hold that maybe, just maybe theyll actually fix the game so i can get my plat i would have deleted it by now.

How is it buggy? youre just mad that you cant platinum it lol? Every platinum is a bad and repetive expeience, mind you. Youre psnprofile says you need only to collect everything but this trophy isnt listed as a buggy trophy.

It is buggy. He can't collect the final blueprint because of the bug, so he can't get the trophy of collecting everything.

Well the true ending is from episode 46. Playing beyond that isn't worth while unless you really just wanna play more.

My advice to new players is just focus on the required content (any episodes, side-ops, and cassette tapes colored yellow). Doing all the side content and higher difficult repeat missions will drive you crazy.

I agree the game does get tedious and some missions are a chore. But hey, its MGS. What did you expect?

I haven't been able to play it yet, but I HAVE played, beaten and cherish MGS1,2 and 3. How do they compare with those titles?
