That sounds strange, you talk as if nobody would want the PS4 at 400$.... it was selling pretty well already, selling more than any other game console almost every months since launch!

My guess is only more people will buy it now, but 300$ would have been a killer move for sure! (I think 250 - 300$ is the sweet spot for a console in therms of price).

99$ would be amazing, I'd buy a second one and keep it ina box just in case someone wants to borrow it.

Yup, the only opinion is about wether people should buy the machine or not, it remains a fact that it runs 95% of the multi platform titles better than any other console, it sells more world wide, it has more exclusive games, and just more games altogether.... however, given the argument you can be sure that your conclusion "if you are a gamer you must own a PS4" is pretty solid and well defended, it should not be very surprising by now.
