Really ? Sony released exclusives (new IP's) during non-holiday period so far and MS just releasing the exclusives games that are milked in Holiday. Also sony has strong line up next year and have announced several games already than MS and more are coming in PGW and PSX.

Sony absolutely owns the Bloodborne IP. They don't own From Software though. This is a Ratchet and clank situation.

GT7 is semi-announced for 2016.

The game creator when asked about the game coming 2017 replied: People will never wait this much for it.

He basically said it'll come before 2017, so if its not this year, it's 2016.


Gravity Rush 2 was also semi-announced for the Vita.

I know GT6 came within 6 months, but every other GT game saw delays. Also, dont know if you have kept up, but GT6 is still getting DLC.

That's okay. As long as all the games or least most of the games schedule for next year release next year, I'll be happy. Uncharted 4, horizon, R&C reboot, SF5 and persona 5 are all I need for next year, anything else is icing on the cake.

Bloodborne is not a Sony IP? What are you talking about? Sony owns that game.

They also released The Order 1886, MLB 15, God of War 3RE, Until Dawn, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture,and Tearaway Unfolded before the holidays.

Maybe, but Splatoon and SMM are the best games I've played this gen and beats out most stuff from last-gen as well.

Though I agree that all the games you have mentioned are great, AAA titles, you should play more variety IMO. Even on Nintendo platforms there are far more creatiove titles. IMO. SMG is pure cocaine

I have SMG for the Wii.

I own a nice mix of adventure, racing, rpg and platformer games on Nintendo consoles.

Cool I might be a bit drunk right now, but man, SMG is orgasmic. Its perfect in every way Gameplay wise it is the equivalent for me with the Uncharted series, presentation wise

No, there is no post in the OP saying what you're suggesting. It only says they have work to do. Work that they're doing right now and will bear fruit next  year. You haven't realized, this comment is actually refering to this year sparce first party output. Well yeah, obviously. If i'm not mistaken there is only one first party game - not counting support role (Until Dawn eg) - and it's only an f2p game (Killstrain).

 

It becomes apparent when comparing 2015 (see above) to the supposedly first party line up of 2016.

The 1st party list for itself outmatches what we had exclusivly for PS4 - at least so far.

If you think about it, we are a third of the way finish with this generation and Sony hasn't release too many games that appeal to many Americans such as myself. I like bloodborne, but I am not into all those japanese anime games like dragon quest. I was hoping it would be like the ps3 with resistance, killzone, motor storm, ratchet and clank (looking forward to remake), uncharted, warhawk, mgs4, twisted metal. I've rented until dawn it is a good rental but nothing I would pay more than 20 dollars for.
