i would say yes, melee was one of the best games. i continued to play it until brawl was released.

love this game absolutely in my top 5 .....sooo many unlockables , add stage creator, and online endless play . 58hrs and 250+ online matches and counting :)

No, I don't think it's anywhere near the best game ever, and when saying if it's the best Wii game ever, you're only comparing it to maybe three titles at this point, SMG or TP, maybe something else. I mean, I'm still not sure if the balance is better in Melee or Brawl yet, but the Final Smashes are cool, even if they must be off in a serious match. I'm not really fond of the single player, I would really much rather have more characters, like Megaman. There are many games much more deserving, just my opinion.

I would have to say I was excited about smash, but after I begin to play. I was really impressed on how well Nintendo put this game together. Nicely done, although some online aspects urk me. Possibly my favorite Wii Game, dont want to be too hasty.

Definitly one of the top games in my opinion, although Earthbound still holds Number #1 in my heart :3 great game though.
