Hope ND is happy with the success of the NDC bundle.
Uncharted is a already widely known franchise, but those bundles will get some peoppe introduced to it and possible be good for Uncharted 4 sales.

I think Sony should (and probably will) introduce a Nathan Drake + TLOUR bundle for November, topped off by a Nathan Drake + TLOUR + Until Dawn + Driveclub bundle for Black Friday. I wouldn't be surprised to see a $300 standalone PS4 too.

Good call.

I wouldn't be surprised to see NDC + TLOUR + PS4 for $300 though.

It depends on whether Sony prioritise winning over makinf sure they don't lose ground like last year. I can definitely agree with the $300 PS4 + TLOUR, but I'd imagine they'd want to ride those Nathan Drake profits a little longer.

That's the catch 22. The more people with the Nathan Drak collection (from a porting studio) the more likely people are to hype an purchase the new title. If Sony's statistics are to be believed, only a fraction of the PS3 user base played any of the titles, and only a fraction of those people would buy the collection. Considering what we know about the port, I bet it already pai for itself and then some.

Maybe, but there's already rumours or them dropping their new 3rd party bundles to $300. They will lose more money on a $300 3rd party bundle than dropping $50 on a first party bundle and throwing in NDC.

Have you got a link to those rumours?

I still think the PS4 has had a $100 price drop but Sony are hiding behind these bundles.

The Black Friday ads should start leaking soon hopefully. PS4 sold just under 900k last BF if I remember correctly, so with the price cut and cod/SW bundles this year, it should easily do over a million.

PS4 sold 840k for the entire month last Nov.

does anybody remember how much the XB1 CoD bundle was priced at last year? apparently it sold 200k last November. maybe we will see similar numbers for the PS4 CoD bundle?

$499 before the price cut then $449. I think the price drop happened before they started selling it though.
