Sony really fucked up stock on the TLoU and Destiny bundles, didn't expect that to happen after what happened during launch window.

Around the Network

2 hours since my last update:

#08 XB1 Halo Bundle (up 1)*
#16 PS4 Nathan Drake Bundle (same)*
#31 PS4 Star Wars Bundle (same)
#35 PS4 TLOUR Bundle (down 2)*
#51 PS4 Black Ops Bundle (same)
#78 PS4 Star Wars Standard Bundle (down 2)
#82 XB1 Forza Bundle (re-entry)*
#91 PS4 Destiny Bundle (same)*
#92 N3DS (same)*

*Affects this month

PS4 - 6 bundles, 6 in the top 100
XB1 - 9 bundles, 2 in the top 100

Halo looking to be in a much stronger position now. I would say that the Star Wars/ Black Ops bundle ARE cannibalising other PS4 sales but I think Sony should have been able to compensate for that, unless production is at max and other regions have increased so leaving less stock for the US. We also have Black Friday which could account for Sony holding some stock back. Are Sony perhaps playing it a little TOO safe?

Who's going to win this month? I haven't got a clue!

Knock it off with the personal attacks guys.

They didnt fuck up if you ask me. They just opened the door for more COD bundles preorders which releases in almost 2 weeks.

Exactly.  And well this is only happening on Amazon btw.  But yes, have you noticed that when one goes 'out of stock' another takes its place.   I still think that the PS4 takes this month, but hopefully it will be close.  And next month... well its looking really boring so far.  There is the Fallout Bundle for Xbox but I unless its like a fire sell dureing Black Friday, I need something else to be excited about.

I spoke to soon.  Fallout bundle is DOA until Black Friday

The halo bundle doesn't seem to be doing as well outside Amazon. The PS4 still leads on other charts.

Whats up with the personal attacks? These are just plastic boxes.

That may play a huge role because the other retailers have significantly greater marketshare while Amazon only encompasses ~5% of it.

Good lord what a blood bath in here.

Halo is selling so well it almost makes me want to pick it up day one but I will try to hold out till a small price cut.
Ps4 still killing it though on the monthly total.

Holy shit! If that bundle is $300 are we going to see just the original bundles going for $250 or less this BF?

That's a risky strategy but I think it's a good strategy. It's going cut into the sales of the standalone Fallout 4 bundle but it could also make people think twice about buying a PS4 for Fallout 4, or even buying a PS4 fullstop. Sony now need something to push the PS4 in the interim.
