Oh cool! If MS feels like talking about Digital it'll be even better. Digital pre-order for Halo 5 just cracked the top 100 while the $250 collectors edition just went to #111.

Plus I'm sure it's the most pre-ordered game on the Xbox One Store.

Halo bundle is doing super well. I don't agree with people who say it is under performing. It is $150 more than the entry for the less popular console. Add to that the most popular console just got a price cut. Yet, it could be the best selling bundle of the month. I don't see any other console exclusive capable of doing this in the US.

What Microsoft and its fans need to worry about is the others bundles. You would think the not so hardcore Halo fans would by other bundle with the game for $399 or $449 (1 TB). We'll see how it goes next week when we get closer and closer to the release day.

Right now, my expectation for the month is 600k PS4 and 400k Xbox One. I know 600k is a lot, but I believe price cut is bigger than any game especially if it let you become the cheapest offering. So, I have to expect more than Destiny month especially since it is October which should have a better performance generally. I would have expected Halo and Xbox to do better than 400k, but I think PS4 will steal some sales.

The Uncharted Bundle actually replaced the Destiny Bundle and TLOUR Bundle is out of stock at the moment.


What I meant is, by seeing that TLOU bundle is out of stock, people chose Uncharted bundle. Or thats at least what it looks like.

Will it make a difference though? 100-200k isn't a game changer for Halo.

It's likely a combination of two things: The TLOUR bundle being out of stock and the fact the Destiny Bundle had a link to the Nathan Drake Bundle as the replacement. Also, let's plays and Twitch streams are helping to promote the Nathan Drake collection, something SE need to understand.

After the Forza 6 debacle, i guess its a relieve that Halo 5 is performing like expected. At the end of the day all the pressure remains on its shoulders.

If all goes according to plan, they should win this month's NPD leaving the "score" at 2:8 in favor of the Ps4.

However, November and December will be another story tho.

Now that the TLOUR bundle is out it should be easier to compare current sales for both consoles once the NDC bundle stops climbing and settles on whatever it's going to settle in

There's some confusion over the Destiny Bundle. It seems that whilst it's no longer part of the Amazon lineup, it's clearly still being sold elsewhere. It still links you to the Uncharted Bundle on Amazon.

I think the latest Star Wars PS4 Bundle advert could have an adverse effect on this month. With MS advertising Halo (which affects this month) and Sony promoting Star Wars (which affects November), it could cannibalise sales a little and edge this month towards the XB1! It is truly an interesting month. Of course if it does work out that way, it more or less guarentees a PS4 win for November.
