Probably Nintendo since they already started making smartphone games.

I completely forgot that Sony makes fantastic mobile image sensors. Blame Nokia Devices & Services for my confusion there (though I really shouldn't be confused; though isn't Samsung eating Sony's lunch when it comes to parts?) And, you probably mean struggling, not striving. And, yeah, I read mobile first, too, so I'm wondering how I got the two mixed up. It's going to be weird seeing Nintendo produce games for Sony hardware soon, though (Xperia phones), though as usual, there isn't any sign of Windows (Phone) support, so Microsoft is left high and dry. |
Samsung is serving Sony their lunch when it comes to parts. They use Sony image sensors (camera) in their phones. As does Apple. And image sensors are by far the biggest part of Sony's devices segment.

you sound like a Nintendo fan....
Anyways, logic dictates that Nintendo pulls out last being that all they have all they have is their hardware and games.
it also stands to reason that MS pulls out first since they are already making hints towards that.
MS because their future hardware will run Windows.
Then Sony because it will be hard to compete against that.
Nintendo will at least keep handhelds in Japan for a long while.
Tough choice between Ninty and Xbox. Nintendo should do it first (should have already happened) but I can see it happening with MS first
PlayStation being the strongest brand associated with home console gaming means they are safe as long as home console gaming itself is safe (thus, last ones)
My closest guess was going to be Nintendo, but their business thrives mainly on videogames, except Sony and Microsoft, which have many, many divisions they can rely on if videogames were going to shut down. I can see Microsoft slowly phasing into PC and digital-only. Since you're mentioning hardware, I believe it's going to be Microsoft with the Xbox.
if nadella says at the helm another 5+ years then i think xbox one might be the last xbox you'll see. xbox will get rolled into the pc space.
Nintendo for sure. If the speculation is true, with the NX they are going to shift focus on a functional OS and a non-traditional hardware line-up.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Between Nintendo or Microsoft, it's a hard call ...
What is almost certain is that I can't see Sony dropping dead anytime soon ...
2 candidates. Ms or nintendo, but nintendo has its entire business revolving around videogames whereas MS just wants to see sony burn. I think I comes down to motivation in which nintendo will win out since they don't have anything other than pokemon cards to fall back on, where microsoft would hardly blink if xbox was removed
