Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo: This may be the last chance for Chibi-Robo

I hate when companies says shit like this. Heres a thought Nintendo: Try marketing it!

hopefully when Federation Force fails we don't get Nintendo saying, "sorry guys, you didn't buy the game. Metroid is gone."

I'm actually more concerned abut Federation Force being a huge hit in Japan and completely changing the future direction of Metroid games haha.

Then the reverse will happen. The US will shun Metroid for now on. And it will do good in Japan. Then fall in the loop Capcom is in, with Resident Evil.

Did anyone even want a new Chibi Robo game?

I did. But a proper continuation to the GC one, on Wii U.

GC Chibi Robo like game could be quite interesting on Wii U or on NX console, I hope they will do one.

This is just stupid. Another 2D platformer is not what the market, nor I, want. The reason I loved the original Chibi-Robo on GameCube was fantastic because it was a fresh concept executed with a lot of charm and deep gameplay.

Poor old Chibi's getting sent out to die with this game. I'll pick it up (mainly because I want that Amiibo) but if he's never seen again because of this I'll be sad.

Why does this franchise get so many chances whereas Advance Wars and things like Wave Race don't?

Or Metroid.

I'm also glad we're getting Pikmin 4, but why does that get a chance and Metroid doesn't? I'm assuming Pikmin 4 will be a main entry HC game while MP: FF looks as bad as this chibi-robo game (and it will probably bomb).

Its unfair to equating Metroid with Wave Race, Metroid is very likely skipping only one platform (Wii U), I am pretty sure we will have Metroid Prime on NX (probably will be announced next year).

Metroid Prime is probably very big project and along development they decided to move project on NX. Pikmin 4 on other side already have Pikmin 3 engine and lotsa assets that can be reused, so Pikmin 4 for Wii U don't require big budget and long development time.

I don't know you guys but this game looks kind of fun.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Then they should have made it a 3D game.

This won't carry over fans and it probably won't attract new ones either as it looks extremely bland by Nintendo 2D platforming stanards.

I don't see wht they didn't make a $40 Wii U game. If it was set soley in a house I doubt it'd cost much more then a decent scale indie game.

Dang, I would like for Ninten to have another IP under their belts, but this doesn't interest me much... :
