In the past 6 days we have had 8 NX Threads ( Not including this thread which is just a glorified NX thread ) and that is not even close to the amount of active NX threads we used to have a while back.

So what do you guys think will actually happean to VGchartz when the NX is actually unveiled?

Personally I think the website will crash for a couple of hours ( Similar to E3 ) due to the huge influx of gamers coming in to share their opinions and then once the site is back online, we'll be able to witness a 100 threads all focusing on the NX each week for a whole month.

People will likely make topics. Probably posts in those topics. I imagine there will be arguments. Likely sales expectations. Spec expectations. Plenty of "why this will put Nintendo back on top".

VGC will be closed because they can't decide if they count the NX-numbers to home consoles or handheld consoles ;)

I think VGchartz goes bananas once it launches, people are putting alot of hope into it already.

At the same time, I think if its disappointing (hardware wise or launch title wise) the blow it ll deal will be a hard one to swallow.

If the Wii U goes out at like 15m units sold lifetime, and the NX doesnt perform good (sales wise), alot of people will be basically proclaiming nintendo dead.

The forum admins will have to rename "Latest Topics" to "NX Discussion".

VGC activity will collapse within six months due to inactivity stemming from NX already being out, which implies no new threads about rumors...

Google becomes irrelevant (btw happy 17th birthday Google) cuz VGChartz will absorb it to reach it's final form.
Seriously it depends on when/what they annouce/show off:
If they only show che console itself without a controller and name a coupple titles incoming theory threads will skyrocket for a few months;
If they focus on the specs (and they are good) and they don't show off the console people will make threads about the release date, possible delays and stuff like "is Codename NX bigger than my car ?" ;
If they focus on the specs and they are low (compared to PS4/X1 but higher than Wii U) Sony and MS fans will claim Nintendo to be dead;
If they show off the new gimmiks of the console people will be angry at Nintendo for focusing on casuals again and if one of the gimmiks are the wheel shoudler buttons I'll personally contribute to create 93% of the NX threads on the website because I would dig them A LOT.
