Forums - Nintendo - NX isn't a console or a handheld console imo

So yes another NX thread but this isn't a will NX be as powerful as ps4.....etc

No like I said in another thread I think NX is a android based Nintendo Tablet. It won't have a disc or cartridge drive, downloads only, and will have a large  storage capacity plus SD slot. But will have small anologues sticks and a few face buttons for traditional play. As well as all the playstore apps it will also have full Nintendo first party support from both handheld and home divisions. It will stream direct to a smart TV or through HDMI For a more console type experience and will be fully portable like a tablet too. So you basically get all classic handheld games plus enough power to run big AAA games like zelda on the TV or portable. Nintendo won't ever produce a Console again IMO they will just become like a new Apple or Kindle fire HD type company.

Thoughts?

No.

bet: lost

Uh-uh.

EDIT: Its already been established to be at the very least a home console.

I don't see the point in this, nothings impossible but if they are going to have a handheld, and cell phone games, triple dipping seems arbitrary.

Yeah if it's that, then bye bye Nintendo for me. Plenty of old games to play.

I just don't think Nintendo is stupid enough to release a console with no form of physical games. It would be a mad thing to do at this point.

I don't really see any other direction for Nintendo though. There fan Base is getting smaller and smaller every gen ( outside of wii and ds of course but we all know where the millions off customers are, lining apple, Samsung and kindles pockets)

I would like to know how did you come to this conclusion as in how many botles, was it rum or beer, that kind of stuff

But the games are as good as they are now and with no software droughts what's the problem?
