Take in count only the launch, not the "future" or which games did you expect. It is all about the launch.

Not really. But that's more on me never investing in a console day one. I usually ignore info and go through my backlog.

It went so good with the Wii that I was expecting the same for the Wii U. Not that it went bad, but I was not as hyped as previous gens. Maybe I've grown up.

No I wasn't. There was nothing at launch I wanted. And I wasn't sold on the Gamepad. So I didn't buy it till MK8 came out.

I was hyped for the Wii U but only because I knew games like Smash, Kart and Zelda, 3D Mario were going to be making appearances on the platform. But not hyped enough to get one on launch day. NSMBU and Nintendo Land looked fun but not enough to throw down the necessary cash. But once we started getting more info on Kart and Smash (and other such games) and 3D World come out I went out and got one.

Was hyped and I still am.
