Mario yes , but they have been working on a zelda for a long time. A year before twilight princess was released. Twilight princess was meant to be a gamecube execlusive so they were making a zelda for the wii. I say an earthbound package for the ds. |
They also said that they weren't working on any new Wii Zelda game currently (as in after Twilight Princess), and Nintendo said there are no plans for a Wii Sports 2. And they just recently finished Mario Galaxy, so a new Mario game is highly unlikely (and Mario Party 9 is not going to be some ultra-game that would warrant any of this pre-E3 hype). Some of you guys are really grasping at straws on these guesses.
Logically, two of their biggest E3 showpieces will be Animal Crossing Wii and Disaster: Day of Crisis.
Also likely: Fatal Frame IV, Kirby, and Wii Music.
If there's a new game we don't really know about already, I'd guess Punch-Out, 1080 Snowboarding, or Kid Icarus. The latter two are the most likely as 1080 would be released to take advantage of the then-widely released balance board, however, both 1080 and Punch-Out would be games that could easily fall into that "bridging the gap for Casual and Hardcore gamers."
