But unofficial, at specific retailers can stand out also, even gain media coverage. Though X1 got large reductions in the UK last year and it didn't really do anything (apart from Black Friday/Christmas, but that's different I think).

I really want Playstation to rock Xbox on home ground this holiday. Give them nowhere to go and shut the biased media down for good.

I just bought mine like two weeks ago . Anyways I prefer the partially glossy body of the old one over the complete matte body of the new model. Also having a cooler running version is much better for places with a warmer climate. That price drop is amazing though.
