800+ games

Which system do you have over 800 games for? You either love your Steam sales or you bought a ZX Spectrum Vega XD

Damn that's some awesome gaming right there! I do contemplate going back to the retro stuff. Do N64 games run at 60fp on emulators? Some 60fps Wave Race would be seriously killer!

20 normally. 30 is extremely rare. I've never exceeded 30 on any of my systems. There isn't enough games I like/want. Even if it's a deal. If I don't like/care about said game. I don't get it. Same goes for steam. Buying hudnreds of games. Just because a bundle is $5. Then you never play them. It's just dumb.

Counting retail releases only:
SNES - 22
N64 - 16
GC - 37
Wii - 50

If you want to add in downloaded games, then add 13 WiiWare games and 2 Virtual Console games (1 SNES and 1 N64).

I own significantly less for portable consoles:
GameBoy and GB Color - 14
GBA - 7
DS - 16

I like to get me money's worth out of my consoles, so I like to stick with one and buy a bunch of games for it. I know I can buy at least 10 great Nintendo games per generation, so those consoles are always a good place to start.

I only buy games when they're on sale or clearance.... for Nintendo systems it comes to about 10-20 per console.

You manage to find Nintendo titles on clearance? Wow! Haha, many Wii U games are now commanding higher prices than they did a few months after release!

Well I haven't been lucky enough to find a Zelda or Mario game on clearance, but most of the other titles end up there eventually.  I've only picked up Wonderful 101, Wii Fit U, and Ninja Gaiden on clearance this generation.

My current collection, in decending order:

NES: 464 (incuding variants)
SNES: 100
N64: 75

Wow, that is a lot of games for these consoles.  Have you played them all?

My ps2 collection was small (less than 10) because i was entering the console gaming for the first time and i didn't have allot of money for that, but my ps3 collection was above 50 games and my ps4 is already above 10 games. My only console that has really low numbers (less than 5) is the vita because ps+ alone is plenty to keep me happy

Between budget and time allocated for gaming, I don't know how some of you guys do it.

For me, the SNES and N64 era were when I was a kid.  Between birthdays, Christmas, and some of my money, 3 to 5 games a year was not that big a deal.  And I was a kid, so time was not an issue.

I was in high school for the GameCube era.  That one was more like 7 to 8 games a year.  I have three younger siblings, so they were gaming during that time as well.  More birthday presents, more Christams presents, and it was easier to earn and spend my own money at that point.  Plus I was still in school, so I still had a lot of time on my hands.

I was in college for the start of the Wii era.  I still had plenty of time on my hands, and with the scholarships I had money wasn't an issue either.  Toward the end of the Wii era, I was working a real job.  I have no time to game now, but plenty of money.  Plus I bought a lot of those games when deals were going on.  The only games I bought for full price were probably the Nintendo games.

yes all games run at 60fps but the controls are not precise because there are dead spots. on the other hand SNES emulator works perfectly.
