Mario.. Crash 1 was pretty average.. horrible controls.. 2 is it where they got it together and 3 was just awesome..

Yeah. Just not a fair contest.

I've recently gone back and played Crash Bandicoot 3 and its absolute trash. Great fun for its time, I'm sure.

Haven't played Super Mario 64, but Banjo Kazooie aged rather well. If Mario is comparable to Banjo then, Then Mario wins and its not even close.

Now Mario Kart 64 vs Crash Team Racing? That's a different story....

Why would we debate that when in our hearts we all know that Diddy Kong Racing is the best out of that era..

CTR wins

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I personally love the original Crash series more than Mario, but when you're talking about the first Crash, Super Mario 64 easily wins.

Crash 1 was good, but had pretty clunky controls.

Gotta admit, I enjoyed SM64 a lot more. Crash wasnt that special to me back then.

Crash Bandicoot 3 is much better than Super Mario 64 imo.

The original Crash Bandicoot? Crash was fun - don't get me wrong - but it doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Super Mario 64, a truly revolutionary 3D platform game with extraordinary controls, music, level design, and freedom of movement.
