Mario 64 is still one of the best game ever made. Crash 2 and 3 are great games but I wouldn't even compare them.
At the time they came out I only had a Playstation and Crash, but even then I remember I liked M64 a lot more.

96.41% compared to 80.40% @ gamerankings so critically speaking Mario done a whole lot better than crash as a game, I mean when I think of the Jump into 3d platformers I would still hold Mario 64 was one of the best even today, never mind 19 years ago when it launched.

Crash 2 was a massive improvement on the first tho, still sits happily on my Vita and gets played from time to time.

To be frank, I don't really care what Crash or SM64 had on either Gamerankings or Metacritic. I don't even care if you have Crash 2 on your Vita. I just wanted to point out that if there's more of a 20% that think Crash is a great platformer, it's their opinion. It's good to differ in opinions, you know

One of my best memories comes from that time, so i hold that game really close to my heart.

I really didnt play much Crash tho, ocasionally on a friends house but i didnt own it.

Ive seen people here praising Devils Third. I think THAT is crazier.
