The official Disney Infinity twitter account is advertising it as their own creation. Hence I have every right to call them out on this. It's like Sony advertising a Mario themed level in LBP. There would be ten threads up by now if that was the case.

The Splatoon devs never heard about Color Wars because the only source of the game's existence was a video on youtube with less than 30 views before Splatoon was announced.

So they don´t even know about that game and they don´t listen to haters on their basements so they don´t need to say anything specially when is so damn obvious, Splatton speaks for itself, you just have to play it.

If Splatoon is not original because it didn´t invented the paintball, then no game in the last 10 years can be called original, stop with the colors wars non-sense, absolutely nobody knew about that game before Splatoon, it has nothing to do with Splatoon apart from shooting paint and the creator of the game said that he thinks Splatoon has nothing to do at all with his game and he is pretty sure Nintendo  knew nothing about it, you are just being extremely superficial "oh theyu shoot paint, is the same game!" NO, play Splatoon first and you will realize how innovative and fresh is the gameplay and the overall style of the game, Color Wars is just an excuse for haters in order to downgrade on of the most original game in years, and is a very desperate one.
