SSB is nothing for me i dont know why played melee and brawl but it didnt click with me any recommendation to enjoy it ??

It really depends on how you play it. I didn't find any enjoyment in Smash before I actually got decent at the game, so I feel you can only really enjoy it if you buy it and play on your own for a while to learn and get used to how the game works.

And then well, there are people who find more enjoyment in playing casually, some others prefer the competitive side, and some can be in between.

Yeah the better way for me to play is the competitive one i dont like to play games like ssb tekken etc alone

Hmmmm

SSB4+SSBM>SSB64

Never played brawl but from all accounts I would probably put it between SSBM and SSB64

...but that's the point. Especially if you want to play competitively, you need to play alone to understand the game's mechanics and stuff. It's nothing like other fighting games.

ok then i will start to play melee again ;)

Melee, Wii U, brawl, 64.

Its the best for me.

I'd say SSB4 is the best, followed by Melee, Brawl, and then the original. I don't experience with the 3DS version.

Characters - Part of the reason I'd say SSB 4 Wii U is best is the character roster. Part of it is just the fact that it's the biggest, but I also feel that the incarnations of the characters seen in the latest entry are the most diverse and enjoyable lineup. Melee had 25/26 characters, but a quarter of them were clones. Ganondorf is particularly egregious IMO, if only because the Zelda series already had so many new fighters and being a Captain Falcon clone is so weird. SSB4 had clones too, and Lucina is arguably the most similar clone in the series, but this is a smaller share of the 50+ total, and these clones are all good fits for the original characters. And although SSB4 has lost some of Melee and Brawl's fighters, most notably the Ice Climbers and Snake, the new fighters bring welcome styles of play. Robin, Rosalina, Shulk, Bowser Jr, Greninja, Villager, and Duck Hunt all are fun to play around with.

Stages - I don't really like Melee's stages. Some of them are classics, including Temple, Onett, Yoshi's Island, and Fountain of Dreams, but many of them seem too similar for my taste. Jungle Japes feels a lot like Kongo Jungle, Whispy Woods appears on two stages, and neither Mushroom Kingdom ever struck me as being great. Brawl was generally better for casual play, if only for the variety. Luigi's Mansion is small and comprehensible, but also dynamic. New Pork city was huge with secrets. Smashville was fairly simple in terms of gameplay, but varied in appearence depending on when you played it. Some stages were too bizzare or chaotic for multiplayer, but that was also true in Melee. SSB for Wii U relied heavily on older stages, but  new ones like Big Battlefield, Pyrosphere, Garden of Hope, and Wily Castle mix character and playability pretty well. Plus, unlike in Melee, the returning stages are great choices, filling the holes in SSB4's new stages. Kongo Jungle is the standardjungle level giving Jungle Hijinx room for experimenting with, 75m gives ancient fighters like Pac-Man an appropriate arena, Onett fills the Mother quota, and so on. Throwing in Omega stages, there is no contest.

Single Player - This is the one area where Brawl is not too far behind, thanks to Subspace Emissary. That said, I think SSB4 is still roughly on par with it. Subspace Emissary was about 8 to 10 hours long, including the cutscenes, bosses, and the Great Maze. Thing is, the platforming parts were nothing great, and the main allure for newcomers was the cutscenes and bosses. Plus unlocking lots of characters quickly, but SSB4 made that largely obsolete. So IMO, Brawl's biggest single player draw is its boss battles. Meanwhile, SSB4 has Special Orders, which is almost as great for collectors of music and custom parts as Subspace was, more Event Matches, and a better Challenges system. So the two are comparable IMO

Multiplayer - SSB4 has the huge advantages of 8 player Smash and decent online play. It also has Smash Tour, which is better for local multiplayer than Subspace Emissary was in Brawl. Melee has the great competitive scene, but SSB4 does the balance of acessibility and depth well enough to give it a possible future as well, unlike Brawl.

Collectables - SSB4 uses that big Wii U disc to include more trophies, songs, costumes, and so on than Melee could dream of. I think the Wii U version has about as many musical tracks as all the previous games combined, 3DS version included. And equipment has obvious uses as well compared to Brawl's stickers.

Each one is better than the last.

So glad this thread didn´t became a Smash 4 vs Melee discussion
