No.

Not at all. Only Apple fans will get it. Motion controlls stopped being popular a long time ago, and people who play iOS games already have phones or tablets. It will sell as well as the AppleWatch.
Impossible. AppleTV will only be present in a handful of countries, and useless in a majority of PS4 markets. And it won't have 95% of games PS4 has.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
Doubt it but there are plenty of people around who will just buy any "iDevice" created.
No. I don't think so. It will just be an apple gaming device, kind of like the Ouya but with the apple store instead of android.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
Apple already destroyed Sony's phone business. I doubt they care about console gaming which would be only a small fraction of the money they make even if they sold at PS4 levels. They are after Roku and Fire TV who are the real contenders.

AppleTV already has sold 6-7 million/year dating back to 2012, and we'll likely see an uptake in sales with this new model.
So that's well ahead of Nintendo's 3.25 million Wii Us/year, and right on par with Microsoft's XBox One sales rate (yearly).
If the new AppleTV gains more traction, yes it absolutely could be the second best selling living room based "game device" if you want to call it that.
It's already outselling the Wii U 2:1 and equal with the XBox One and Apple really even hasn't tried to push it the brand, it looks like now they are making Apple TV a much larger priority.
