Apparently also with the green spin-off tag and not the red main-series tag.
This is weird.

Oh no... now I'm worried :S |
Oh man, now I'm getting anxious. I really hope they don't drop a bombshell here because Pokémon is literally my life and if they do something stupid then it's gonna suck :(
Sounds to me like this could all be tied into Nintendo's entry into the mobile market, with the Pokemon Company entering into a new partnership with them as Nintendo enters this new market.
Systems I own: Switch, Wii U, Wii, N64, Retron 5 for my Ness, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy line games, Dreamcast, PS2, New 3DS.
If they're making Amiibo/Skylanders-esque figures they better have a Quagsire one, that's all I need.
To raise hopes up, this could also be an actual brand partnership. Like Pokemon x something. Not even related to the games, but to something else. Like Pokemon x Disney with Pokemon getting its own park there or something. It can be a lot of things. I'm trying to be optimistic here.

I WOULD BUY THAT IN A HEARTBEAT
As long as it does not involve the mainline Pokemon games going to mobile, I don't care what they have to announce.
If it's a partnership with Disney or Activision to make a Skylanders/Disney Infinity type game based off of Pokemon, great!
If it's a deal with Disney to make a Pokemon Theme Park. Awesome!
If it's announcing some small budget game like Pokemon Shuffle on mobile (which ironically it is on mobile). Fine, whatever.
But for the love of God, if it's what I fear, I'll be done with Pokemon.
