- Everyone right about now.

Best case scenario, we'll get another game in the vein of Pokken.

Worst case scenario, Pokemon's going mobile and its the end of handhelds as we know it.

Bad feeling it'll err towards the "going mobile" side. Hoping beyond all hope that I'm wrong, though.

Don't think this is the kind of conference where game announcements like that would be held. It could be something like a new toy brand? Maybe a partnership with Disney? Those are the kinds of announcements you'll see here. If there's a new game, it's going to be something very closely related to the new business partner.

Again, not liking this at all.

EDIT: That being said, if I'm being entirely realistic, I wouldn't go as far as to say it would be the end of handhelds or anything. I don't think Pokemon would go exclusively mobile.

Honestly guys, I think they might announce a Toys-to-Life collection of Pokemon figures. Maybe they're amiibo, maybe not. But I think they're going to do all of the Pokemon, or at least most of them. Maybe these figures will be compatible with Pokken, or a new game that they'll announce.

Just a guess. I feel like that's an obvious way to expand their business and bring in more profits. Although I do hope they talk about revamping the anime and their merchandising as well.

And I hope you're right and that's all it is. But I don't think it would be this impromptu if that was all it was. New business partners? New strategy? Not just for toys to life.

Maybe it's a partnership with Disney to make a game and toys to go along with it, similar to Disney Infinity but with Pokemon only. Some Wii U or 3DS game that makes use of the figures. Could be the big thing that launches before Pokken early next year.

I hate these kinds of non descriptive announcements of announcements. As a fellow Pokémon fan, I'm terrified at what will come out of this •~•
