A Square Enix game designer from Osaka has updated their public LinkedIn page with the projects that they worked on at Square Enix from August 2014 to June 2015, and curiously "Kingdom Hearts 2.9" is listed here as a title for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. For the 10 months that they reported working at Square Enix, they supposedly worked on both Kingdom Hearts 2.9 and Kingdom Hearts III, making the following contributions:

So what would that package contain? 1.5+2.5? That'd be great

I'm guessing it's basically everything in 1.5 and 2.5. Which if exclusive to playstation, is effing awesome for sony with kingdom hearts 3 likely to come out 2016. Probably saved for paris games week, or tokyo game show very soon.

If they combine the two collections on PS3 which I held out on buying hoping for a PS4 port, then holy shit, I would be a happy camper.

that would be awesome but it's not very clear.  maybe it is a small downloadable title "prequel" to the III sequel.  like a pre-order DLC that sony paid for.  at some level it feels like a money hat being exclusive to sony.

also,.. is this the first time we have platforms listed for III?  i remember it being announced for ps4 but i thought it was still a question mark about xbone and wiiU (and i suppose NX).

I don't see the point of making it exclusive anymore if their bringing KH3 to the Xbox One as well.

Phil Spencer has specifically said he wants a collection on Xbox before 3 comes to Xbox. And its been confirmed for XB1 everywhere.
