It doesn't matter what she is because it's not important because the issue is never brought up as far as I know. So yeah, she may be a transgender woman but it's pretty much meaningless. Now give me a transgender game character whose sex and gender have some meaning or are actually brought up somehow, and we can talk.

All the people claiming Samus is trans have probably never played a Metroid game in their lives, this is just another way to get attention and more patreon bucks.

Lol I like how she lists the endless gobs of evidence showing she's a woman but, because she parsed through the etymology of one word from a quote from the creator and determined it implied she's trans, then clearly she's trans. I'm sure the same company that wasn't comfortable letting Birdo remain a transgender female will certainly let their most popular stand-alone (as in not Peach or Zelda) female character go that route :p

Wouldn't bother me either way, the only thing that DOES bother me is this "cis" thing. I'm perfectly happy to call everyone what they like, but who the hell came up with "cis" for us? It looks weird and sounds gross, like a cyst or something. I demand we vote on a new one!
