Hmmm, actually, you're right. Just checked it up after what you told me, and tranny applies to transgender, transsexual, tranvestite, cross-dressers and drag queens, as a derogative slang/slur. Didn't know that it applied to transgender too, mainly because the word "tranny" translates into Spanish as "tranvestite", which only refers to people who dress as one.

It might be arm cannon, Samus is all about that, but there's no evidence at all pointing towards Samus wanting to be a man, or having been born as one. So I'd say her being trans is impossible to defend as "canon".
