I don't want to go overboard in the main threads because I know I am not a big MS fan.

But seriously, what are they thinking with these bundles. Tomb Raider is good, white Gears bundle may be decent, but otherwise these are just terrible.

Fallout 4 SE tomorrow to bring back some sense.

Their AC IV and Unity bundle last year were better.

Oof. These bundles are painful. Why didn't they just announce a Halo 5 standard bundle and leave it at that. That's why I know they're going to liquidate these bundles now. They'd be non-movers otherwise.

But it has Kinect /s

Bundles I think Sony should do:

PS4 FPS Bundle: Destiny TTK, COD BO3, BF4 $400

PS4 Hack and Slash Bundle: Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, GOW III Remastered $400

PS4 Open-World Bundle: AC IV, GTA V, Just Cause 3 $400

I...don't know what to think. I am either completely failing to understand the console market and somehow these bundles are going to sell very well despite my absolute conviction that they won't, or someone at MS has had a massive brain fart. Why is that bundle $500? Surely it should be $450 at most.

I am glad MS is still trying to support Kinect, but at the same time they seem to be intent on keeping Kinect bundles priced beyond the reach of anyone who isn't a big fan of at least one of those games.

Bolded: take away one game (BF4), otherwise it's too much honestly.
Italic/Underline: Take away Just Cause 3 (they are partnered with Microsoft), replace IV with Syndicate and Watch Dogs

Bolded: That value is what will make it sell a lot of systems.

Italic: Yeah, but they already have one of those, so maybe Batman AK instead of JC3.

The only bundle I think Sony could do with before BF now would be an Ass Creed bundle. Not sure why Sony aren't using it in the US yet. White console with Syndicate and maybe Watchdogs for $399 for example. Otherwise I think Sony are well set.

Also, the regular Batman bundle comfortably outsold the SE, so if the Battlefront and Cod standard bundles do equally well in comparison to their SE, sales should be up from last year by some distance.
