I honestly could see Microsoft adding a BC game to every bundle just to promote the whole BC compatible image.

I still think Sony is going to combat that with partial BC (PS1/PS2, possibly PSP and VITA), and a $50-100 price drop. They are going to announce trophy support for BC being the reason that its taken so long, and possibly... just possibly announce the ability the remote play a PS3 on the PS4. You would still need the physical hardware, but you'd get the party, social aspects, etc system that is built into the PS4.

We already know that sony will launch 3.0 in October sometime -- they could bury BC into the update and allow it to unlock on the 27th at their conference.

  • Tomb Raider + Tomb Raider Definate Edition
  • Fallout 4 + Fallout 3 (BC)
  • Rainbow 6 +  Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 (BC)
  • Just Cause 3 + Just Cause 2 (BC)

Those are the bundles are my guess.

Fixed. I have a feeling this won't change anything if a price drop is announced.

Out of those 4 i guess only fallout 4 is the only one that can really gain ground on the top 100 and give the xb1 a boost on sales. And as Protendo said if a price drop is announced i guess it wont change anything. PS4 bundles will retain its dominance in the ranking.

I believe Sony has Just Cause marketing rights, but I might be wrong. But I really doubt that any of those bundles will launch later than November, you know MS, gotta get that Black Friday crowd.

Just Cause 3 appeared in Microsoft's Gamescom conference and comes with Just Cause 2 via backwards compatibility, so Microsoft definitely has that.

MS is reaching pretty deep into the multiplat pool getting Just Cause as a marketing exclusive. It's definitely a mid-tier franchise and doesn't really seem to get many people excited. I don't see how marketing exclusivity for this will help MS hardware sales at all. I'd be more inclined to think JC3 would be an added extra for bundles with a bigger franchise as the lead game, like a TR+JC3 bundle.

PS4 Amazon dominance is about to come to an end

Doubtful. The halo 5 bundle is nowhere to be seen, gears and Madden bundles did little use, fifa bundle nothing, Forza bundle barely hanging on.

So unless these new bundles are packing a free ps4, I doubt the charts are likely to change much.

I remember reading a thread here the other day about a guy who was really angry/bitter at Sony for having so many third party exclusive bundles for this holiday, and now Microsoft is doing the same thing lol

Wonder how he feels about it now that Microsoft are doing it :) Even though they already have bundles for forza 6, gears of war, Madden, fifa, and soon halo 5.

Weird how he was just attacking Sony but leaving Microsoft out of the discussion.

Xbox is getting thrashed in the Amazon hourlies. There's like 4-5 ps4 bundles and only 1 Xbox which is Forza and is slipping more and more.

Must be why Microsoft is putting these new bundles together next week. Trying to halt PS4's onslaught. Going to be a very interesting holiday battle between both companies.

Only one console is on an upwards trajectory right now... and it is the basic PS4 model, kinda funny.

Uncharted Collection doing better now, into the top fifty.

That Halo 5 controller is pretty nice as well.

And hopefully the X1 bundles being announced come to the UK as well.

He was permaban... and he was Nintendo fan... not sure why he wanted to focus on trashing Sony so much.

One bundle every day announced? To obvious that they are milking it since they have nothing else to announce and try to build momentum. If this is the case, then I see the value of each bundle to be subsequently better. With the first launching soon and the last as close to black friday as possible. tier one might be a one game bundle, tier 5 might be 5 games, obviously higher price but still an amazing deal. They will do this to have amazing value without dropping the price.

Oh my! I wonder what they could be?

Fallout 4, Tomb Raider.... Maybe The Division?

EDIT : No, The Division is 2016... So surely some "basic" bundles with already released games.

Oh! I see. I am not too sure what they are still, but that could very well be the case. Thanks Faelco-San! Much appreciated!
