With the sw movie coming + game, that sw bundle may be a game changer for Sony!

This is going to be a slaughter.

Don't forget, only the Destiny and the Batman bundle will effect this months sales (or whichever PS4 leads by the end of the month). I'd say November is in the bag for the PS4 though.

November have Black Friday, there is really nothing decided until Black Friday happens, it's that huge.
If PS4 gets a price cut to Black Friday things could get really hot.

Star Wars releases in November. Black Friday will help both companies but Star Wars will help Sony much much more than MS. The Star Wars Bundle is already pushing consoles for Sony for November and it's likely to build up towards release. Then let's not forget when the film releases, the bundle will get another boost. If Sony can manufacture enough consoles and they play it right, MS won't close that gap in the US one little bit. In fact, it's possible the gap could grow larger.

As expected forza 6 wont do much for xb1. All rest in halo shoulders.

Damn so much PlayStation in that chart.

Looks like the holidays will be dominated by Sony this year.

After halo in October, Microsoft has to fight a ps4 with exclusive cod and star wars marketing plus a potential price cut in November and December.

It's about to get very interesting around here.

Black Friday is about price, tons of people who don't get a clue about gaming, as many parents for example, go to buy all kinnds of presents and videigames are really popular of a choice, whoever has the best price is more likely to get a big advantage.

I really wouldn't pin the whole month on Black Friday. Sony will have deals and bundles BUT they'll also have the full 'force' of the Star Wars franchise behind them.

Destiny still have selling power.

Hmm, i think it's more the fabulous ps4 who is selling than destiny.

I mean, look at this wonderful white collector ps4 ? Who wouldn't want it ? I would, if i didn't have a ps4 already.

Of course BF is nit the entire month, but I'm sure it's more than relevant enough to pick a winner if there is no balance when it happens, whoever wins BF is bound to win the month, even more as people actually hold their purchases to be done there as it'll be chepear, so the month as a whole minus BF kinda loses some sales (because of BF, so the actual month really gains lots of sales).

Don't you remember last year? The XBO with the price cut completely dominated USA sales in November, and PS4 had a GTA bundle (BF only though, very limited).

I also remember that $50 price cut the PS4 got on eBay with a store days before BF, the thing was selling over 1/s, every second you refreshed that page it went up, and it was like 3am.

Price really matters in November and December on USA, specially the closer to BF.

Well we'll see but Star Wars is already the top selling bundle on Amazon and it will run through September and October and into November. Sony will have great deals on Black Friday too which are likely to cancel out any advantage MS would normally gain.  Last year MS used the trick of creating panic buying by telling consumers the price drop was only until january, but I doubt they can pull that one again.
