That Mother Base complain makes me think that maybe you're not the kind of gamer that enjoys slow-paced games, which this game sure looks like one.

My favourite games are stealth because I can take my time.I like slow paced games. I like open worlds games. I like stealth games. There is no other reason other than I find it dull and uninteresting.

You like those genres but that doesn't mean you like them together. It's like Pizza and Pasta. I like Pizza and I like Pasta but when you combine them you get something disgusting.

i just read through the whole thing and i cant believe how people cant accept the fact that you just simply dislike this game.

Serious question because so far I've found it dull, uninspired, repetative, overly complicated and nothing like a MGS game.

Please just leave.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

I don't know, I haven't played it but maybe you need to find more equipment. One of the fun of MGS was the arsenal of equipment you had with you.

Also try turning reflex mode off.

Been a lurker here since 2007 and I've read many complaints but they seem to be genuine like in the case of the OP here, he seems to jump the gun alot on first impressions where his hype/expectation are just coming down from the sky and settling into the reality of the game. He also said he hated The Witcher 3 but I'm not sure anyone in the first 5-10 hours of the game  were thinking, wow, this is everything the hype made it out to be, at least not the newcomers.

These threads are pointless because it like someone reading the first chapter of a bestselling world renound book and saying I don't like it.

First of all, bestselling does not mean jackshit about quality. It does not matter if a book or a game is bestselling or not, it should not be looked through different standards either way. But if someone says they like the game even after only few hours of play, hardly anyone will critize. Why is it always like that, positive comments gets a free pass? Would you say positive threads, so called hype threads are pointless too then? Or are you straight up biased against "early"-negative comments?

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I LOVE MGS.... I even had Ghost Babel on my old gameboy. I'm not going to persecute you for not liking this entry but I feel it would have given your argument more weight if you pointed out some things you liked, some things that were ok and then the things you didn't.

As it is, your OP seems like an outburst of anger at the changes which either don't fit your play-style or were not what you expected. Perhaps it is your presumptions and unwillingness to adapt that are worth criticising....

I must say I am loving the game... I savour being surrounded by enemies and weaving in and around the environment messing with their heads. The AI is just fantastic and the topography is ideal for sneaking.

One thing I am worried about is cut content... I heard there is a lot. Will not be happy if what I have heard and seen to some extent is the reality...

You just described all recent sandbox games.

All i have to say is: Where were you during assassin's creed, Dragon age inquisition, Batman, etc?

Yeah... i am starting to dislike Sandbox games. They are repeptitive, boring and badly paced. Also, the sandbox aspects hurt the length and quality of the main story more often than not.
Xenoblade is the exception.

Yeah

I'd still eat it though.

It starts being fun around about the time you play it like its supposed to be played.
The series tagline is "Espionage action", not FPS.
