What he really means is there will be an announcment to announce the delay of the release date announcment announcement to later in 2016, which will mean the release date will be announced at the delayed release date announcmenet announcement as being some time in 2017. Whereas if the original release date announcement anouncement had gone ahead the release date would have been announced as end of 2016. While technically this will not be an announcmenet of a delayed release date, the fact that the release date announcement announcement delay happens means the orignally planned release date will not be announced and thus the announced released date, when it is finally announced, at the delayed release date announcement will mean the announced release date will be a delayed release date from that originally planned to be announced.
