I was pretty confident that we get a direct for Devils Third in europe but there is literally nothing that lets people know that this game is coming out. It´s basically doomed to fail

Besides Pokken we really had nothing special.
Release dates and trailers have all been announced/showed outside NDs - even when we expected a new one; Pokken announcement did have a perfect place and was probably decided for some time.

I think it's too early to tell if NDs are on hold or not.
They still have a lot to show about Starfox, FE IF(which is coming later this year in Japan) and Mario Tennis. Those are probably the games for the next ND, along with games coming out in the Q1 of 2016.

I can see that. Since the stuff they announced/show at e3 have already been seen on past directs = No or Less Surprises at all.

Like others, I think with the new CEO will come a new direct. Honestly, if they made a five minute video of a Zelda trailer/footage and called it a direct I'd be happy

If there isn't a new one in January 2016, it pretty much will prove they aren't going to do them anymore. So let us wait till then and hope there will be one.

Wii U is dead, Nintendo won't be making any new games for it. There'll probably be some Directs for 3DS games over the next year, and perhaps something for Xenoblade and Lylat Wars: Starfox, but I don't know if there will be much else on home console until NX is out.

Actually I think we will have few more games for Wii U, Pokemon Tournament for instance is one, Pikmin 4 is probably Wii U game too..remember when Nintendo said they want Wii U owners to be satisfied and that they will not abandon Wii U owners with NX launch.

New 3ds coming to America out of nowhere after being told it wouldn't.

Now pikmin 4 being announced?

These recent developments are getting me really excited for Nintendo's future.

Next E3 should be quite interesting.
