Forums - Nintendo - Splatoon's final boss is simply wonderful.

In Zone 3 currently and can't wait to play it. Quick question, does every scroll in each level of a zone need to be collected to unlock weapons? Or does only the boss battle scroll needs to be collected?

It is one of the best bosses Nintendo has made in years, really cool and fun to beat.

Definitely an epic boss battle.  the end is near controlled chaos with everything you have to be aware of and time.  Now try doing it with a charger weapon or roller in the amiibo challenges.  ugggh

Power suit is tha bomb!

Absolutely loved fighting that final boss!

Loved the final boss, especially the music, simply amazing.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Was I the only one finding it underwhelming? So many people were saying stuff like "Oh, the final boss is so awesome, it alone makes it worth it to play through the campaign" etc. but I didn't really think it was that special. Maybe the people hyping the boss up ruined it for me

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

R & C fanboy alert. :p

(you know I'm joking)

Second best final boss in a game I played this year (the best being Zanza by a longshot).

Don't know who Zanza is but I bet he was better than Splatoon's final boss.

It wasn't bad, but I just didn't think it was particularly great.

I went to the final boss with low expectations ( the other bosses in Splatoon are just average and the last world was also OK) and I was pleasantly surprised! I think anyone can agree that it's miles better than the other bosses.
