Yeah, it's veery good! I will go as far as say that the FPS aspect of the game is better than in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark combined!

And i missed that? My life. wasted...

:D

Shame on you! You get to play a game that amazing once in a lifetime!

Star Wars Racer or Rogue Squadron are fun... so is NBA Hangtime and Jet Force Gemini... and of course Goldeneye. I've been thinking about getting one of these lately so these are the games I would look for.

Feel free to check out my stream on twitch

Ogre Battle 64.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I'm sorry... :(

Someone should do a kickstarter campaign to fund a sequel. I'm sure people would love that!

Certainly! The reception of the new South Park game makes this even more likely to happen!

do you really have to ask this question? just get anything that has the nintendo or rare logo on it. anything. there are a couple decent third party games, but those are for when youve completely exhausted everything else.

So many! In terms of the ratio of great games to total games, N64, to me, is the best system ever.

  • Super Mario 64: a revolutionary 3D platformer with spectacular level design, controls, and music
  • Wave Race 64: a realistic and challenging racer with amazing water physics
  • Star Fox 64: a short single-player campaign is mitigated by branching paths and fun multiplayer options
  • Sin & Punishment: one of the best rail shooters ever made despite a rather cryptic story
  • Mario Kart 64: a well-balanced racer that increases in fun as more players join - especially in battle mode
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: arguably the best game ever made, Ocarina features deep, engaging gameplay, expertly-designed dungeons, and amazing sound design
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: darker and stranger than Ocarina, Majora is a masterpiece in its own right
  • Turok: Dinosaur Hunter: an atmospheric and violent shooter focused on exploration
  • Turok 2: Seeds of Evil: larger and gorier than its predecessor, Turok 2 boasts huge environments, plenty of crazy weapons, and lots of sinister enemies
  • World Driver Championship: while not as complex or detailed as Gran Turismo, WDC remains a stellar sim racer
  • Body Harvest: a proto-Grand Theft Auto focused on an alien invastion of Earth
  • Blast Corps: an unusual and addictive vehicular destruction game
  • Jet Force Gemini: advanced artificial intelligence, smart boss design, and a strong soundtrack combine to make the best third-person shooter on N64
  • Donkey Kong 64: not for everyone, but a worthy purchase for action platformer and "collectathon" fans.
  • Diddy Kong Racing: the best kart racer on N64, with an entertaining single-player campaign and several vehicle options
  • WCW/nWo Revenge: this game - and its predecessor World Tour - are two of the best and deepest wrestling games of the fifth generation
  • Wipeout 64: although its track list is relatively small, Wipout 64 features awesome track design, atmosphere, and sound
  • F-Zero X: dozens of tracks and racers make F-Zero X a superior futuristic racer with tons of replay value
  • Banjo-Kazooie: a 3D platformer that rivals Nintendo's best, Banjo-Kazooie has style and substance to spare
  • Banjo-Tooie: an ambitious open-world platformer, Tooie introduces new worlds, moves, and ideas to an already outstanding formula
  • GoldenEye 007: a seminal console shooter with a long campaign and legendary multiplayer options
  • Perfect Dark: with an original sci-fi storyline, a co-op  mode, and customizable multiplayer options, Perfect Dark manages to improve upon its spiritual prequel
  • Star Wars: Rogue Squadron: graphically beautiful and tough as nails, Rogue Squadron is a must for fans of Star Wars and arcade-style flight games
  • Fighters Destiny: it might have some boring characters, but this fighter's unique scoring system makes it one of the best brawlers on N64
  • Rayman 2: an imaginative and diverse 3D platformer from genius designer Michel Ancel
  • Conker's Bad Fur Day: Rare's swan song for N64 is a subversive action platformer with gore and profanity galore
  • Paper Mario: it might be a touch on the easy side, but it's also a charming and accessible RPG with a unique visual style
  • Mario Tennis: sure, it's not realistic, but Mario Tennis is arcade sports bliss, especially with a few friends in tow
  • Excitebike 64: one of the industry's finest motocross racing games, Excitebike boasts stunning controls, physics, graphics, and tracks
These are just some of the games worth playing on N64. Good hunting!
