I think you made the right choice, the PAL cart box art is much better than the NTSC one.

But.. How are you gonna play it?

Damn, nice one
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
130 dollars? For a Worms game? That's a bit overkill if you ask me..

It sold around 40k according to VGChartz, so you're right! Still, you're right.

Surely the NTSC version is more rare and a sought after collectors piece. There are a lot of exampled of these all over the plattforms.
For instance, in the PAL region there are different "codings" on the cartridge so a PAL game could differ hugely in price as well.
On the NES there was a game called Tiny Toon Adventures 2, an NTSC cart costs about 15$ a German PAL cart costs about the same.. a SCN (Scandinavia) coded cart costs about 125$. They are the same game in every instance except for a 3 letter code on the front page and 3 letter code on the back of the cartridge.
Should try to find little samson for Nes
Sometimes they sell it cheap for 750$ on conventions.
Same with the Flintstones at dinosaur peak (was a best buy exclusive).

It's worldwide, meaning America and Europe! The game never came out in Japan as far as I know.
