Just an assumption on my part, but I'm pretty sure PS1&PS2 games will be made available for purchase on the PSN sooner or later, so you'll be able to do that. Why that hasn't happened yet I have no idea. Stupid Sony being stupid Sony I guess.

Oh, well... that's all I want so... hurry up please Sony

I bet you anything 3.0 will allow for ps1 and ps2 classics.

As much as sony haters say that it wont happen due to ps now, classics are a steady revenue stream with almost zero costs.

some of those ideas are good, but I could take are leave all of them.

Why is it if I log in to my PSN with my email I cannot change my PSN ID without paying as long as the name is free?

The reason? They build the database with the Primary Key as the username because people change their emails... Wrong way round, silly people.

Hmm, pie.

My first time checking or that site. They have some good requests! I'd love DS4 support for Vita! Would really help when I use remote play!!

When will people realize that the ability to fully purchase games is such a dumb and counterproductive idea for both gamers and Sony? If you give Sony a one time fee, you're basically asking Sony to allow you permanent access to their PS Now servers, something they have to constantly spend $$ to maintain, while you basically play for free after a certain amount of time. It's like going to a restaurant, buying a small appetizer, and then just loitering there for a long time. That's harmful to the business because you're now taking up the seat(s) of other potential customers, causing the restaurant to lose money.Unless you're willing g to shovel out a shit ton of money for a single game, this makes no sense.

Plus, why not just buy the game digitally or physical? You keep it forever, and you never have to worry about streaming being up and running for you to enjoy it.

So the top feature is now one that is never going to be implememented because it simply isn't feasable for Sony. It is also one that quite frankly does not improve the PS4 one bit because believe it or not guys, you will not use it. It is entirely pointless, who here can seriously see himself buying an old PS3 game for streaming?

It is pointless when so many ask for it and has become the biggest request? Ofcourse it would be better without the streaming part something I am also in favor for.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to build the database using hidden id numbers? Then people could change both their emails and username since neither would be what actually links their account to Sony's servers.

Guess it's too late for that now though, silly Sony

I'm guessing that's what they did, anyway. There is no logical reason why we shouldn't be able to update both Usernames and Emails as they are obviously something we may want to change unless they set up their database wrong and now can't.

The fact MS charges for something that is as simple as an update SQL on a unique field that is unique is odd enough.

Yes, it is pointless and not something people would use (I guarantee that even if implemented people would just complain about the price), I'd much rather get features that actually improve the PS4 instead of being able to buy streamable versions of PS3 games, which I will never use.

They said it was to discourage people from griefing you one day, changing their name, and then coming back and griefing you again.  If somebody really wants to change their name, the fee isn't too high but it's high enough to keep people from getting away with that.

It's kind of moot, though.  Both PS4 and Xbox One allow you to use your real name on the consoles.

It's more like buying electronics in your house and never having to pay electricity. Maybe even like buying a PS3 game and never having to pay to play online. Now if it's behind the PS+ pay wall, it might be reasonable.
