I just read the GameSpot article and my God. I like M$ but apparently he REALLY like M$. Didn't seem objective at all. Kudos to the maturity in the comments, though. Not nearly as bad as I was expecting. |

Yea I was just about to type this before I read your comment, I'm fairly sure he means you buy once and can switch between console and PC in the same game with allowing you to continue where you left off.

Exactly as I am perceiving it. Which, technically, is something only they would offer. With games like SFV and Rocket League I am pretty sure I would have to buy it twice, and then I doubt that the actual progress would carry for me. I think I just get to play with users on both platforms.
Oh my, oh my, Microsoft's PR coach takes a short vacation, and another executive starts making ridiculous statements.
Of course, only a fool would fail to see a pattern here: 1.
1. Make false and outrageous statements,
2. Press will amplify them,
3. Rubes will eat them up
4. Profit

Does the XB1 allow for their Live games purchased on 360 to transfer yet? I know they are working on retail backwards compatibility but I haven't heard about the Live (indie games and what not) purchases. |
Yes, you're going to be able to download XBL games that you bought via arcade.

Yeah but what's stopping Sony from allowing someone the ability to put in their PS1/PS2/PS3 games into their PS4 and streaming from PS Now instantly?
For that matter, what's stopping them from releasing a PS1 and PS2 emulator?

It would also seem that even for 2015 only counting what you choose to counts. (And before anyone says anything, he is specifically talking about numbers and that's quite frankly a complete lie) |
He's probably only talking holiday-season..and forgetting about pre-season. lol.... I hate it when execs pick some arbitary data to state their console is better, but are basically missing the whole point on purpose.

The problem with that is that:
a) Streaming games to you costs money for Sony. If you could do that for free by just popping in your gamedisc, that would be a huge loss project for Sony. They are not a charity, and Sony is not in the position to throw away money like that.
and b) PS1 and PS2 games aren't available on PSNow currently.
Nothing is stopping them from releasing a PS1/PS2 emulator, it might very well come sooner or later.

LOL! More pointless talking. The one thing they can't do is sell the console with those features.

Who know's,but playing old games is not important to 90% of the gaming population as no one really cares and it's just for fanboy wars because one console slightly has it and another console dooes not.WiiU has complete BC and no one cares.
