Animal Crossing IS a videogame, there is no debate about it, the fail state DON´T define a videogame, interactivity does it. |
You are obviously missing the joke.... i.e I'm not being serious.

| Arlo said: I absolutely HATE the term "walking simulator". It seems like it started as a tongue-in-cheek way to poke fun at these types of games that are basically free-movement adventure games with a heavier emphasis on story. Then everyone started using it seriously, and whenever I see it used in a game's official tags it makes me a little sad. Something about it just grates on me. Maybe because it's so belittling. |
Basically this.
you have to be high to enjoy walking simulators and since I don't smoke weed I prefer games with intense gameplay and high levels of difficulty otherwise I'll just do something else with my time

I had a discussion once about how to define a video game and what I boiled it down to was something like this:
If it is a piece of interactive software that is created with the intent of being a game, it is a game.
That is a purposefully loose definition, but I feel that it is the only way to include everything that you think of when you use the phrase "video game" and exclude everything that falls outside of that.
No Journey?

The price is a bit steep, it's $16 though with ps+.
Everybody has gone to the rapture gave me what other games seldom can. Pure relaxation while exploring the world at my leisure, accompanied by some great musical pieces. It's nice to slow down once in a while and focus on the surroundings and story, instead of have your finger hovering over the skip cutscene button to get back to collecting xp and loot.
Now I'm in the mood to play The vanishing of Ethan Carter. I hesitated since that one is the full $20, no discount, and even more on Steam in CAD. But whatever, at least I can finish these games instead of get bored of them halfway through.

But I want Gears of War on Ps4.
Well, everyone seems to love Journey even though that game barely has any real gameplay.
