I only play/buy FPS games for the single player campaigns.  Destiny was the first one that I actually played much multiplayer on.  I am much more likely to finish the solo campaign than I am to ever play on every map in an FPS multiplayer scenario (pre-DLC maps).

Halo on XB1 will sell more than Battlefront will on any single console.

Battelfront across all consoles will sell more than Halo 5 will on XB1.

I agree, bought advanced warfare day 1 (think it was day zero thing actually), went through the campaign, went through again to get intel and trophies, played 2 games online I think, sold to friend.

Picked up Ghosts recently and I didn't touch the multiplayer at all.

I do tend to play battlefield alot online though, but I still enjoy the sp.

Regarding Destiny though, there isn't really a single player campaign is there?

There is, the story was just lacking from an in-game perspective.  A lot of the game's story was given to you in these grimoire cards that you had to go on Bungie's website to read (iirc).  The story took something like 10-12 hours to play through first time around though.  I haven't played the game since the first DLC release though.

I do believe Battlefront will sell a lot of units. However, I think Halo 5 will sell more. I didn't know that Battlefront was only mp. That does sting a bit. I was looking forward to a single player campaign. The fact that Halo 5 will embody all of those features will certainly look more favorable to some.

Then again...it's Star Wars on a new gen system. I can't count out Star Wars on anything. I just think Halo 5 will be the victor in the long run.
