Battlefront is launching to an audience of probably 40+ million consoles alone, and PC sales. Halo is launching to an audience of probably 16. Battlefront is just more likely to sell more because it's on 3 platforms as opposed to one.

but on those 16 million ( and let's say 18.5 or 19 million by end of year ) Halo 5 will disintegrate Battlefront.

I don't say Halo 5 will sell more, but i think you should see how big a game is, not only the userbase.

Halo is huge but since S.W has a movie this year, it has good chances with all platforms combined unless the game is bad, which could affect but I'm sure it's still going to sell a lot. Now I doubt Halo will be beaten when comparing it to every version of Star Wars individually.

I think Halo will move about six million on Xbox One in its first year. About nine million when all is said and done.

The rest, I don't know how they traditionally perform.

9 million? Really? Halo 4 just barely broke 9 million...I honestly don't think Halo 5 does much more than 8 at best.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

New gen. Plus Xbox has no other games.

Battlefront if we combine all the sales
I think Halo 5 will sell 12million.
Battlefront will sell 7.5million on PS4.
Battlefront will sell 5million on Xbox One.

I agree. I think halo will likely beat battlefron on xbox one. That's what I said. Overall though, it doesn't stand a chance.

It doesn't have any other big exclusives, but it's going up against Battlefront, and Call of Duty as far as shooters go this holiday. Then, Gears 4 next year as well as the usual 3rd party games.

I just don't think there are 9 million Halo fans left.

Halo 5 Vs Battlefront (PS4 only) - Halo 5

Halo 5 Vs Battlefront (all platforms) - Star Wars Battlefront

Halo 5 Vs Battlefront (Xbone only showdown) - Halo 5

Historically, Halo always sells north of 8 Million units. Battlefront wont compete with those numbers on a single platform. PS4 version will be closest, but with competition from Black Ops 3 it isnt going to come close to 8 Million units.

We will not get another mainline Halo FPS for a while which means Halo 5 will have legs, and Halo 5 will also be a main bundle game in 12 Months time. Halo 5 wins both 1 on 1 ties, but loses the handicap match.
