Chance of Nintendo losing this gen... about .01%.

That is, if Nintendo decides to end this console's life in 5 years and PS3 decides to continue for 11 years. Even that, there has to been so MASSIVE support from third party on PS3..

in another word, not going to happen.

I think they´ve got this gen pretty much locked up,when it comes to hardware sales.

I suspect the next generation (the 8th one) will be the most interesting one ever.

which ever way you look at it, Nitendo is still winning. They make money on anything, good or bad games. I think they will get challenged by Sony once they lower their prices, but the lead will be too much to catch up.

Its a very tiny microscopic chance to see Nintendo loosing this gen, They have been making money more than Sony's and Microsoft's gaming branch and they have been very successful at reaching casual gamers and there are still a lot of people out there that are not gamers yet, the only way Nintendo can lose this gen is seeing that everyone already owns a wii and DS or something happens to their factories

Well, i have to say that the PS3 COULD (theoretically) still pass the Wii in Europe... The gap ain't THAT big! And PS3 is picking up speed! Although the Wii is Still outselling it (for now?!...)

 

America and Japan is total Nintendo-lock!

At first I thought it might just be a simple spelling error, but since you've now spelled it twice this way... is there a product out there of a "Nitendo" brand?
