Lol well at least you knew what to do. You do have to make a precise jump.

So after the first week with this game I have noticed that there are really only three kinds of levels:
1. Levels that are next to impossible because the designer didn't put enough effort into leading you in the general direction of where you need to go next.
2. Levels that are next to impossible because of blatant design flaws. In particular, enemies on shrooms in corridors that are far too large to get by without having a mushroom yourself. Oh wait, there isn't one in the level. Sorry.
3. Levels that are far too short and/or easy.
Rarely I will find a good, fun, gem of a level. Hopefully the initial "OMG I CAN MAKE GIANT GOOMBAS" thing is a fad and goes away... quickly.

If you want to find good levels then look for the top 50 popular levels on global and regional, and look for the top 50 creators and all their levels (also worldwide or regional) and if you want more, then look what levels are starring the creators you admire to find other possible levels you like, is very easy to find good levels on SMM, and even on Mario Challenge you can easily skip the lamest ones.

Good opportunity to list them together :)
Blup A8C6-0000-001D-AA02
First attempt, short but difficult underwater bullet hell stage, 4% clear rate
Under 8EDC-0000-0030-6C93
Short castle stage, easier yet still only 6% clear rate
Rhythmic Dash B833-0000-003B-0FCC
Fun 30 sec full tilt run stage, the trickiest part is the timing in the start, you get invulnerability for the last third, just concentrate on jumping. 8.5% clear rate
Devin DD20-0000-003F-4576
My 6 year old's first attempt after seeing Rhythmic dash, short, not too hard due to lots of power ups, 10% clear rate
Haunted Cathedral 1DFA-0000-0044-837C
A full level based around changing level elements with switches. I think it's the easiest to complete, yet stands only at 2% so far. I put the hardest part at the start but when you know the timing you can get past it quickly.
Hint: There is a hidden mushroom left from the first switch dispensing pipe (far left upper floor). Success all depends on reaching the switch with the 3 goombas before the timer runs out so it can fall down. (Otherwise you have to head back and try again) You can dispatch the goombas first before going left.
I would recommend Rhytmic Dash and Haunted Cathedral, those are the 2 fleshed out levels.

I would have removed the Twomp to give the player some breathing room. You have to remember that in the level editor you can try out sections over and over again without having to start over but regular players don't get that luxury which means that to "practice" a section we have to redo the whole beginning of the level.
Signature goes here!
Here's my third level, it's called "The cold stare of two Mario's":
D9DC-0000-0045-23BB
No one has starred it yet. :( Anything wrong with it? Be sure to press A + B and down on the d-pad while the level is loading btw. :p

Thank you for the suggestion :) I wanted to design the level to make you constantly on the move, but there is one part where you have breathing room, it's right after the thwomp you're talking about (:

If you have any questions about it, message me if you're not completely burned out and still want to beat it. Haha. This level is actually the current level in the mario maker sprint thread, so if you beat it, make sure to take a picture or whatever so you can be documented to have beaten the hardest level thus far on VGC!
" This level has Lakitu in it."
