Forums - Movies & TV - Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight trailer

Looks interesting. It'll be hard to top Django in my opinion but who knows.

I think a lot of films release around the holidays actually. All the lord of the rings films as well as the hobbit films did. Even the new star wars is releasing during the holiday season this year I think.

any reason why you think they are overrated?

Hoping that just like Django Unchained it has some original music by Ennio Morricone.

His films have only been getting better. After Inglorious Basterds I was sure that mad brilliance couldn't be topped but along came Django. I'm pretty sure that one can't be topped either, so lets see if Mr. Tarantino can surprise me again. Although I'm slightly dissapointed Christoph Walz isn't in this movie...

Definite buy, but I probably won't go to the cinema to watch it. I don't expect it to be a family movie :)

Kill bill is overrated, but pulp fiction its not (i wacthed last year for the first time). Neither is Django.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

If you do your research without the intention of dissing Tarantino you will see that Tarantino was openly inspired by Lady Snowblood, and apparently he made the movie crew watch Lady Snowblood during breaks in filming. You make it sound like he ripped off Lady Snowblood and tried to pass Kill Bill off as a completely original story.

The trailer was OK, but it didn;t make me excited to see the movie.

I reckon Tarantino would do a great job of adapting the Good Lord Bird.

who says you have to take kids?

I am Iron Man

As westerns have become more rare been some great ones recently with 3:10 to Yuma and True Grit so I trust Tarantino to do the genre justice.

Considering the actors and the time period it takes place in, I'll watch it.
