According to Media Create, Splatoon sold 35,620 copies last week in Japan. Splatoon also went up in the ranks, from 4 last week, to number 3 this week.

Splatoon beat Mario Kart by nearly 15k!!!!!
80k to go... Lol, 20 weeks are definitively ridiculus at this Point. Maybe seriusly before 10 weeks?

That said, at this point there is SERIUSLY a strong chance for Splatoon > Mario Kart 8 lifetime in JP... ( 50% imo )

It's gonna outsell it by the holidays. That's pretty much a given at this point.

If splatoon can keep the 30k a week then definitely. Sometime in 2016.
