When I think of Mafia, I think of this

Not this

Not buying it.

This.

Though i still wouldn't buy it even if it didn't rape the franchise, Mafia 2 was shit compared to the first IMO.

People always have issues and gamers are among the worst customers you could possibly imagine. Anything below absolutely perfect for everyone's Taste is unacceptable today. But just don't listen to it and play what you like. And don't Visit forums too often.

Who the hell cares what skin colour the main character has? That's NOT the important part!

I don't think that most complains are about that anyway, but the fact that game, from what was shown, feels nothing like previous Mafia games, plus you play against Mafia - which, as I said already, would be as silly as Rockstar making GTA wher you play as a cop.

As a big fan of Mafia 1 (and to some degree Mafia 2), I do have a lot to say, from what I've seen so far, against this game, color of main protagonist being least of my concerns.

Not really. Mafia= organized crime, it doesn't mean Italian mob. You gonna be playing as one crime, against another one.

Mafioso doesn't mean bad guy any away in Sicily

Well, if you took 2 seconds to do your homework you would know that word mafia originated in Sicily and that it applied to Sicilian and Italian-American Mafia...not that it really matters in this context, since the first two games are about Italian Mafia and I'm saying it's silly that in third you play against them.

But then again, you haven't played first two games and you think that those gifs of 3rd one look 'dope', so why I'm wasting my time here?

As a Portuguese speaking fella, I don't need to do any homework on the word's etimology.

In Mass Effect 2 you play with Cerberus. In ME3 you fight them...

I don't think 2K said that we're required to play the first 2. Or the people that played Mafia I&II have more say on the game than the devs?

Personally i don't like the time setting, would rather they went with 80's Mafia.

I think Story wise, we don't really know much about it yet, of course i would rather be a mafia guy working my way up, but from what I've read, you are part of a gang and you build up your bases/crime syndicate (bit like the godfather game)... so i will reserve judgement for now.

The exploding cars and crap... that's only because reviewers complained the game wasn't GTA enough... idiots :)

Funny thing is that if Mafia 3 was again a story about a nobody rising up the ranks in the Italian Mafia we would have complained about playing the Same game over and over again..

That's exactly what i wanted lol.

Change the gameplay, not what makes Mafia Mafia.

Ignorance is bliss. And anyone making an argument about a black person in a mafia game is a fool.

Italian mafia: COSA NOSTRA (our thing)
Japanese Mafia: YAKUZA
Chinese mafia : TRIADS
Russian mafia: BRATVA

Funny thing is that's exactly what I wanted, just in different setting (as I mentioned already, Las Vegas) and with gameplay closer to Mafia 1.

Well, I havent played any mafia games but it sounds to me like two mafia families going at it is pretty mafioso... Isnt that kinda what half the mafia movies is all about?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
